RETREAT LIFE STYLE
The way we live during the training is monk-like, you can dedicate your energy full time on practice, study and self-observation, everything will be taken care of for you.
Generally you will not be able to leave the yoga center because of the tight schedule, only Sunday afternoon and during excursions you will have the chance to go to town or to travel a bit.
No smoking, no alcohol, no medicine plants, no meat etc. during the entire course period!
We found that within a retreat in a natural environment the teaching of yoga is best transmitted, because natural living and the practice of yoga are to our minds deeply interrelated.
ROOMS
Shared bedroom, maximum 4 people in one room, shared bathrooms. Hot shower available. Dry toilets. (Gender separation if possible.)
CLIMATE & CLOTHING
Altitude: more than 2,388 m above sea level, Pisac, The sacred Valley
Dry Season (April – October): hot during the day (25C), freezing at night, no precipitation at all from May – September. Warm clothes are recommended for the nights!
Wet Season (November – March): rain is to be expected almost on a daily base. Usually it is sunny and then it rains for a few hours. Warmer nights, no frost throughout the season.
CERTIFICATION RYS 200, RYS 300 E-RYT 500, YACEP
Of course our School is certified by Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga School 200 Hours (RYS 200). When you graduate from a training with us you are able to apply for RYT 200 Yoga Alliance Certification. This allows you to teach all over the world, as in most countries Yoga Alliance is widely acknowledged in Studios and Yoga Schools.
Both training instructors, Marisol Fajardo Falero and Christian Ebner have E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certification.
