    8 Day Program

 

1^st Day..... Wewill meet in the office  placed  in street  AMAZONAS 1000 PISAQ at 9:30 hrs , then when we get ready we will go to the small square of San Blas and at  8 am we depart from the city of Cusco on minibus heading for the small town of Santa Maria, in the north of Cusco.  On the way we pass through the town of Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley), we walk for 30 minutes whilst explaining the history & importance of this Quechuan city in the time of the Imperial Incas..  Later we climb a range of mountains until we arrive at a place called Puerto Malaga (4,300m), where we can appreciate the snow capped, Mount Veronica (Apu Huacay Willca), we descend to the location of Alfamayo (1,800 m.a.s.l.) where we will lunch in a rustic restaurant by the side of the highway.  After this we visit the rest of the ruins of an Incan palace called, Huamanmarca.  after this we will go to Santa Maria (1,400m.a.s.l), After this we take a minibus to the valley of Vilcabamba for 3 hours     we will  arrive at our destination at approximately 8 pm,  in the town of Huancacalle where we eat dinner and where we stay the night in a family run hostel. 

 

2^th Day.....Very early after a session of Yoga in the gardens of the hostel we have breakfast & then walk for an hour & half on a beautiful mountain to the magnificent Palacio De Manco II, where we have a history session & we drink the sacred plant, Huachuma.  Later we walk 15 minutes around the mountain to the sacred altar of Yurac Rumi, where we create a circle of light & partake in an ancient Huachuma ritual. 

 

 3th  Day ...... very early  we walk to  the Ñusta Hispana Stone  , here  we  stay all the day  in  different sessions Meditation, Reiki  and Reflexology lessons    and  andean rituals & as the night falls we traverse the mountain & make a fire & have dinner in the gardens of the hostel.

 

 

 

4 th Day ....... We wake-up & leave very early in a minibus to go back to the location of Santa Maria (3 hours), where we have lunch and direction for a dirt road for 20 minutes of bus , Later we walk climb a small mountain for 45 minutes seeing many kind of native plants around the place & arrive at our destination Pispitayoc at approximately 3 or 4 pm, where we eat dinner & sleep in a very quaint country house, surrounded by an array of greenbelt & fruit trees.

 Before all this we bathe in some beautiful waterfalls, later we eat vegetarian dinner & around the table we have a history session.  and only if the group wants to, we will be able to have in the night a Ceremony of Ayahuasca.

 

 5th  Day..... before breakfast, we participate in a session of yoga, we eat & then try our hands at some ancient ceremonial dances (with explanations of the significances of these dances) After breakfast we walk through the forest, where we take a look at many native tree In the same place, explanations of the significances of these trails  plants, rituals and the geographic). We will see plants like custard apples, persimmons, papayas, cocoa, yucca as well as some plantations of coca.  We can also eat fruit directly from the trees, according to the season, also, we can see other non native trees like: mangoes, oranges, bananas & coffee etc. & we celebrate a few Pre-Columbian Andean ceremonies like the Kintu in the view of the snowy mountains, Apus Salkantay & Huacay Willca.  On the road we encounter a variety of flowers, butterflies & birds of the area like: red-headed parrots & cock of the rocks.  We visit a farming family where we share a hot chocolate made with bee honey from the local area & sample a few varieties of Peruvian coffee, etc.  Later we continue through the jungle passing on the Inca trail, stairs & stone balconies over 600 years of age.  In a special place in the mountain we attend a circle of meditation, conscious breathing & prayers of light & energetic harmonisation.  We continue our journey descending the mountain & then eating lunch, typical food, cooked on firewood, in a farmhouse.  Later we continue walking to the side of the river Urubamba above the beautiful natural hot springs called Cocalmayu, where we camp & spend a wonderful night enjoying the relaxing & medicinal benefits of the natural thermal baths.  We camp on the edge of the hot springs & we can spend the night chilling inside these natural wonders to our hearts content & then go to sleep in the tents.

 

 6th  Day.....In the morning we can continue enjoying the hot springs in the light of the sun.  Before midday we move to another place for lunch  Santa Teresa ( 15 minutes )  After this we take a minibus from this town to other place for   35 minutes,we will rest talking of history and  Later we walk around the mountains of Waynapicchu & Machupicchu until we arrive at the Mandor Natural Reserve.  It’s at this beautiful natural reserve where we encounter more than a 100 species of cultivated Orchids & other species of wild orchids, as well as this there are native flowers like the Kantu & the Chimpu & more than 20% of all the species of birds they have here in Peru, such as the Incan Colibri, the cock of the rocks, the  Chihuaco, the Tandara, the  Chingolo , the Tecte , etc.  Here, in Mandor, we camp under the starlit sky,  & we visit Las Cascadas De Mandor & we ignite a beautiful fire & a chorus of songs emit  from  the trees of this paradise of light & the flowers.

 

 7th  Day..... Very early, before dawn at 4:30am we climb Machupicchu, we see the wonderful dawn break from the mountain top before the entrance is open to the Incan City & enjoying the structural  beauty,  the most magnificent in all of America, viewing the city sanctuary in its entirety, marvelling in the explicit detail, clear as day is every magnificent monument of this spectacular sanctuary: El Templo del Sol , La Puerta del Sol, El Intihuatana, El Puente Inca ,El Templo del Condor. etc.   Later we climb Huaynapicchu to contemplate from the dizzy heights the sacred geography.  After we descend & visit the major parts of the city sanctuary, Machupicchu & we finish seeing everything around 2:30pm  We eat lunch in a beatiful place near the river of Urubamba (with a wonderful view ot this river)  & return to the same road leading to Mandor reserve & we will walk  retorning  to Santa Teresa  and  after  of  to take the  diinner   we will enjoy of  other  time  in the  hot spring  and we  will sleep in a  hotel of the town.

 

  8th Day.....We begin the return journey very early, we pass through the thermals & arrive at Santa Maria for lunch.  Later a minibus takes us to the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo (sacred valley),  Ollantaytambo, is called the unique, living Inca town because the people of this town have been inhabiting the houses of their ancestors & walking the ancient streets where they once tread.  It’s said to be the most interesting town in the sacred valley.  Finally we head for the city of Cusco, where we should arrive around 5pm. 

 

Annotations:  Throughout the journey we share historic sessions about the Pre-incas, Incas & the colonies, we talk about the administrative system, their customs, agriculture, science, art & about all their spirituality. 

The food is lacto-vegetarian & we don’t consume any processed food.  We don’t consume any commercial industry products from Coca Cola, Nestle, Knorr or their counterparts.  We don’t eat any GM food. 

If the group wishes we can take an opportunity to carry out some good willed voluntary social work eg, painting & decorating in a native community, or teaching, or exhibiting some art.

Programa de 8 dias / 7 noches


PRIMER DIA... ... a las 9:30 a.m.  nos encontraremos en la oficina ubicada en calle AMAZONAS 1000 PISAQ -CUSCO para después de que todos estemos listos partiremos a las 10 a.m , en un mini bus con dirección al pueblito de Santa María al norte del Cusco. En el camino pasaremos por el pueblo de Ollantaytambo (valle sagrado) caminaremos por el pueblo durante 30 minutos explicando la historia e importancia de esta ciudad quechua en el tiempo del imperio inca y continuaremos en el bus , y luego subiremos una cadena montañosa hasta llegar a un lugar llamado Puerto Málaga ( 4,300 m.s.n.m. ), donde se puede apreciar el nevado Veronica ( Apu Huacay Willca ), descendemos a la localidad de Alfamayo ( 1,800 m.s.n.m.) donde cenamos en un rustico restaurante al lado de la carretera., visitaremos los restos arqueologicos de un palacio Inca llamado Huamanmarca y Luego llegamos al pueblo llamado Santa María ( 1400 m.s.n.m. ), almorzaremos y luego nos dirigiremos al Valle de Vilcabamba (3 horas en bus), y llegaremos al pueblo de Huancacalle donde cenaremos y pasaremos la noche en un hotel campestre.
· SEGUNDO DIA....En el mismo lugar, antes del desayuno participaremos de una sesión de yoga, desayunaremos y ascenderemos por un hermoso camino al magnifico Palacio de Manco Inca II, aqui tendremos una sesion de historia alrededor de un fuego para comulgar con la planta sagrada Huachuma, despues de visitar el Palacio de Manco Inca y la ciudadela  de Vittcos caminaremos hacia la piedra sagrada de Yurac Rumi, donde crearemos un circulo de luz y haremos el ritual referente al Huachuma, y bajaremos por las primeras horas de la nochepara la cena dentro del hotel.
TERCER DÍA..... Muy temprano ascenderemos al lugar sagrado ceremonial llamado Ñusta Hispana, donde realizaremos un ritual que consiste en un desafió para la consagración como guerrero y tambien tendremos diferentes sesiones terapéuticas como reflexologia, reiki, etc.... es aquí donde pasaremos todo el día. al anochecer bajaremos al hospedaje para la cena y prepararnos para partir al día siguiente.
· CUARTO DÍA ... Nos levantamos muy temprano hacia la localidad de Santa Maria (3 horas) aquí almorzaremos y luego el bus nos llevara a otro lugar a 20 minutos, desde donde caminaremos entre la foresta mirando plantas nativas por 45 minutos hasta llegar a la casa de una familia campesina en un lugar llamado Pispitayoc aproximadamente entre las 3 o 4 de la tarde, es aquí donde cenaremos y dormiremos, pero mucho antes realizaremos la visita a una cascada donde podremos darnos un riquísimo baño natural. Después tendremos la cena y al rededor de la mesa realizaremos una sesión histórica ( si el grupo lo deseara en esta noche podremos tener una ceremonia de Ayahuasca)
QUINTO DÍA ......Después del desayuno tendremos una ceremonia de danzas ancestrales con la explicación del significado de estas danzas. Después caminaremos por la selva donde miraremos muchos arboles nativos y en el camino explicaremos los significados de las montañas y geografía de la zona. Aqui podremos observar especies botánicas como: Paltas (aguacate). piñas, chirimoyas, papayas, maracuya, guanabana, granadilla, plantaciones de coca, yuca, cacao. También podremos comer frutas directamente de los arboles, de acuerdo a cada estacion, de hecho también podremos ver algunas plantaciones no nativas que los campesinos del lugar realizan como : Cafetales, mangos, naranjas, platanos,  luego celebraremos unas ceremonias pre-colombinas llamada Kintu frente a los nevados: Salkantay y Hacay Willca. En el camino nos encontraremos con variedad de flores, mariposas y aves del área como: El gallito de las rocas y el loro de cabeza roja. Visitaremos a una familia campesina donde compartiremos un chocolate caliente hecho con miel de abeja del lugar y probaremos el delicioso cafe Peruano, etc. Luego continuaremos a través de la jungla pasando por un camino inca con escaleras y balcones de piedra con mas de 600 años de antigüedad. En un lugar energético haremos un circulo donde tendremos una sesión de meditación, respiracion consciente y oraciones, armonizando nuestro cuerpo y mente con las energias del santo lugar. Continuaremos nuestro camino descendiendo  la montaña para despues almorzar comida hecho con leña en casa de una familia campesina para despues continuar el camino por el lado del rio Urubamba para llegar a las aguas termales de Cocalmayu, donde acamparemos y pasaremos una hermosa noche disfrutando de los beneficios medicinales y relajantes de estos baños 

 

SEXTO DIA ....  En la mañana continuaremos disfrutando de estos baños termales, antes del mediodia nos trasaladaremos a la localidad de Snta Teresa (15  minutos) donde tomaremos otro bus que nos llevara a un lugar a los pies de la montaña de Machupicchu, la cual rodearemos caminando por hora y media hasta llegar a la reserva natural de Mandor. Aqui acamparemos y visitaremos las hermosas cascadas y miraremos mas de cien variedades de orquídeas nativas y otras flores también nativas como : El Kantu, El Chimpu y podremos observar muchas aves, pues es aqui donde se encuentran mas del 20% de todas las especies de aves peruanas. Aquí en Mandor, acamparemos bajo un cielo lleno de estrellas y conoceremos las hermosas Cascadas de Mandor y después haremos un circulo alrededor de un hermoso fuego antes o después de la cena.

· SÉPTIMO DÍA...  Muy temprano, antes del amanecer a las 4.30 a.m., subimos a MACHUPICCHU , veremos el maravilloso amanecer desde la montaña antes de la puerta para entrar a la ciudadela inca y gozar de la belleza arquitectónica mas bella de América, conocerán la ciudad santuario en su totalidad, gozando de la explicación detallada , clara y profunda del significado de cada lugar del santuario : El Templo del Sol , La Puerta del Sol, El Intihuatana, El Puente Inca ,el tempo del Condor. etc. etc. luego subiremos al HUAYNAPICCHU para contemplar desde lo alto la geografía sagrada , bajaremos , visitaremos mas zonas de la ciudadela -santuario Machupicchu y terminaremos de ver todo aprox. 2.30 p.m. Almorzamos en un lugar con una hermosa vista al rió Urubamba y retornaremos por el mismo camino hasta Mandor, donde tomaremos nuestras mochilas y tiendas para retornar a la localidad de Santa Teresa, cenar, tomar nuevamente otros baños en las aguas termales y dormir en un hospedaje de la  zona.
 OCTAVO DÍA.... .Emprendemos el regreso muy temprano, pasaremos por las aguas termales y llegaremos a almorzar al pueblo de Santa Maria luego un mini bus nos llevara hasta el pueblo de OLLANTAYTAMBO (valle sagrado),llamado el único pueblo inca viviente, es decir, la gente de este pueblo sigue habitando las casas de sus antepasados y caminando por las calles originales donde estos caminaban. Es el pueblo más interesante del valle sagrado. Luego nos dirigimos a la ciudad del Cusco. Llegamos aproximadamente a las 5 p.m.

A través de todo el viaje compartiremos sesiones históricas pre incas , incas y coloniales Hablaremos de su sistema administrativo, de sus costumbres, su agricultura, 
ciencia, arte y sobre todo de su espiritualidad,
la alimentación sera lacto-vegetariana,y no usaremos alimentos de procedencia químico- industrial; 
 No consumiremos productos de las industrias ; Coca cola company, Nestle , knorr y demas industrias igualmente nocivas.
